The Littlest Sasquatch

Being alive is fun, right?

Religion in Congress

Out of 100 Senators, 87% are Christian. 13% are Jewish.

Out of 541 Representatives, 89.3% are Christian, 8.4% Jewish, .4% Muslim (2 Members), .4% Buddhist (2 Members), .9% Unknown (10 Members), and .6% identify by other religions.

15% of the US population identifies themselves as Non-religious/Atheist/Agonistic.

Only one member of Congress is an atheist, Pete Stark. That’s .001%.

I mean, I get it, but…COME ON HERE.

What I don’t get is the gender gap but…I can only be upset about one thing at a time.

Congress sucks.
